Silver Spoon Restaurant

My cousin oscar took my family and i to this restaurant and i’ve gotta say, this place is GREAT! Not only was the food fantastic, the service was incredibly hospitable and fast! Suha was managing the restaurant while sally was our waitress. I have twins and my family also has 2 younger children and they were all very much prepared to help us find seating and serve us. We are very happy to have eaten here. This place is now a staple among our family for future visits.

This is my first time visiting. I absolutely loved it. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy and had a diner feel. We were greeted in a manner that would suggest that we have been long-term friends. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff. The food was great. We ordered French toast and a frittata and a hamburger. The portions are large. The prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely go back when I’m in the area.

Big shout out to the... Silver Spoon Diner at 5230 N. Roxboro road, Durham. I had forgotten how good the food is!!! So good that normally I eat 1 egg and cheese biscuit at home but here I ate a , 5-egg omelette with toast and home fries with a side of a huge pancake!!!! I ate every single bit!!! Can't believe it but I did. The place is super clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and the service was fast even though they had a table of roughly 22 ladies also eating and the restaurant was full. Love this place and will be coming back more often!!!

First time here. This place was very busy, but was able to get a seat in 5 mins on a Sunday brunch time. Food was good and the place wasn’t bad at all would recommend this place and would definitely come back.

I ordered the banana pancakes and there was more toppings than batter. We also ordered a seafood omelette and a waffle. The service was also fine for a diner. Overall, haven't been back since but it could be a good option for some.

First off just let me start by saying the service was top notch! They greeted us and was nice and patient. The food came out pretty quickly. My fiance had a delicious, nice and thick Belgium waffle! I had a Denver egg scramble that had diced ham, spring onions and cream cheese mixed it! It was heavenly good! We definitely will be returning in the future!

My favorite local diner. I’ve enjoyed their waffle plate with strawberries and whipped cream three times now. It’s the best waffle! Always friendly, fast, and delicous with an authentic old diner vibe. And you can buy homemade baklava and Dubai chocolate at the counter!

Building doesn't look like much, (old Pizza Hut) but the food and service was really great! We had breakfast at about 1:30. My wife had the waffles. She said it was the best she ever had! I had the pancakes, they were good as well. (They make the pancake & waffle batter in-house.) The food was so good we order off the dinner menu to-go.
